About Tuition & Fees

The CDL is a tuition-based program within the Department of Human Development and Family Science at Mizzou. Families pay a monthly tuition rate based on their child’s classroom placement. Tuition is reviewed annually and reflects the cost of providing high-quality early learning experiences for children.

 

Enrollment Fees

Enrollment Fees: There is a one-time enrollment fee of $250.00.

Newly Enrolled Deposits: A $300 security deposit is required for all newly enrolled Tiny Tigers™ but is refundable if 30 days notice is given. The deposit will hold a space for your child and will be refunded after you leave the CDL provided you give notice. All withdrawals require a 30 day notice submitted in writing to the CDL Office. Written notification of withdrawal of less than one month will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit.

Tuition Payment Policies

Tuition is divided into 12 equal monthly payments and is due in full by the 1st of each month. If the MU Child Development Laboratory is closed on the 1st, payments will be accepted without penalty until 5:30 p.m. on the next day classes resume.
